Snapper Privacy Policy

Last updated October 6, 2026. This policy covers Snapper for Windows, made by TechXperts LLC ("we").

The short version

Snapper does not collect, send or share any data. We never see your screenshots, recordings, history or settings.

What stays on your PC

Snapper's own code contains no networking code, and every build is checked automatically so that never changes. Its Microsoft Store package does not ask for the internet capability. There are no uploads, no accounts, no analytics and no crash reports.

Uninstalling Snapper removes its app data. Captures you saved stay in your folder until you delete them.

Subscriptions and the Microsoft Store

Snapper Pro is bought through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft handles the purchase, payment and your Microsoft account, under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. To check whether your subscription is active, Snapper asks Windows, and Windows contacts the Store. Snapper itself makes no connection, and we receive no personal information from the Store beyond the sales reports Microsoft gives every publisher.

Company copies

A company that installs Snapper from our download site gives it a license key. Snapper checks the key on the PC, without going online. If the company turns on automatic updates, Windows (not Snapper) checks downloads.thetechxperts.com for a newer version. Like any website, that server sees the PC's IP address when it asks. We don't use that for anything other than delivering the update.

Children

Snapper is not aimed at children and collects no information from anyone, children included.
